The Big inaugural Natureship seminar shindig

Venue to be confirmed

This going to sell out as quick as Geraint eats Garlic. Very much biased towards nature photography however most of the advice stands for most genres. We are so looking forward to running this full day seminar with 50% of profits going to charity. It’s going to be a day of talks, conservation, food, equipment, competitions and freebies. Rob and Geraint will take you through an image from planning and preparation to processing with a mass of hints and tips sprinkled throughout. We know it can be difficult to speak up but we want you all to be comfortable like you are chatting to your best mate (unfortunately mine is Geraint so it doesn’t work for me!) There are 2 things we would especially like those who are attending to do: 1st thing: We will run a competition and the winner will receive a free workshop voucher and an A3 mounted print of their choice from the ‘you lucky people’ print box, 2nd place will receive an A3 mounted print and 3rd place will receive an A4 mounted print (4th place doesn’t have to have anything!). You can enter up to 3 images and please send them as jpg’s no bigger than 1mb in size to Go on have a go, no harm done! 2nd thing: Please be involved and send us questions that you would like to know, planning, equipment, techniques, processing etc. Ask us about our workshops or tours especially about the future overseas trips. Now is your chance! We are looking to add a few things (possibly Olympus being involved but is dependent on time. This still needs to be finalised but the basic timetable is something like this: Arrive 9.30am for registration, a quick mingle, a brew and ‘sarnie’. 10.00 - Rob and Geraint talk planning, preparation, perseverance, patience and passion, it’s very rarely about the grab shot. 11.00 - Q & A 11.15 - Brew time and possibly a cake or two. 11.30 - Taking the shot, focus, light and positioning. 12.30 - Q & A 12.45 - A spot of Vegan Lunch, the results of the Natureship photography competition and announcing the extremely luck winners! 13.30 - Kruger, South Africa - Safari on a budget: You probably think a safari is out of the question, think again! 14.30 - Q & A 14.45 - Brew time and you never know a biscuit. 15.00 - Processing basics that make a difference and anything else we missed out 15.45 - Final Q & A and chucking out time Wow! wow! and wow again! what a feast in more ways than one - The plan is to run it every year and for it to grow
